Destiny 2: Where is Xur (and whats he got for sale?) – August 23

#zrodlo

There are still those who are willing to get up at the crack of dusk and boot up their console to find him for you. People who’ll risk digital life and limb to let you know if Xur is selling a treasure or rubbish. I just so happen to be one of those people. Maybe you’re stuck at work and can only log in later tonight. In that case: Where is Xur?

Fortnite’s controversial mech has been nerfed

The B.R.U.T.E mech may have been designed to give Fortnite some more dynamic matches while allowing lesser-skilled players (Hi mom!) to stand a chance of winning a round, but the inclusion of that cybernetic crutch has been nothing short of controversial since it was first assembled.

Robert Rodriguez and Priyanka Chopra team up with Netflix for new superhero film

#zrodlo

Robert Rodriguez is a director who is not shy of ambition or afraid to try new things, which is why his career is littered with a bizarre combination of films like Desperado, Spy Kids, Sin City, Alita: Battle Angel and VR POV film, The Limit. And those are probably some of the more normal ideas …

The nine best ways to cheat death if you’re a comic book character

#zrodlo

So you’ve just realised that your reality is nothing more but the construction of drunk comic book writers who slapped your continuity together in a single pub crawl. Life is literally two-dimensional and your chances of being killed by an interdimensional squid monster that crawled out of Alan Moore’s beard have now just multiplied immensely. …

Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlords Hands On: Squire! Attend me!

#zrodlo

I have a soft spot for Mount and Blade: Warband. I first played the game all the back when I was in primary school, having absolutely no idea what it was. For some reason, one of the computers in the school library had a copy of the game saved to it and one rainy day …

Erica review – Choose your own mad ventures

#zrodlo

Do you remember Erica, the Playstation exclusive revival of the classic FMV gaming genre that was announced back in 2017 and then barely heard from since? Well, it was suddenly released earlier this week at Gamescom, catching many by surprise. What may even more surprising though, is just how good it is.

Hidden Gems of Gamescom: The Cruel Whimsy of Yaga

#zrodlo

One of the best things about Gamescom is just strolling the halls, aimlessly looking for something to play. It’s been a mad dash for Sam and me, often having to sprint past hordes of fans just to make it across the wildly enormous convention centre to be on time for your next appointment. It’s a …

Six people have been arrested over match-fixing allegations in CS:GO

#zrodlo

Over in the land of Oz, the Australian fuzz from the Sporting Integrity Intelligence Unit have been monitoring suspicious CS:GO team activity and have begun issuing arrest warrants after a lengthy investigation. Acting on a tip-off, Australia’s thin blue line arrested six people so far under the allegation that they’ve been throwing matches while also placing bets on those bouts and raking in a tidy sum of cash in the process.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Multiplayer Hands On: Breaking Bad

#zrodlo

I wasn’t really sure what I expected when I walked into the Breakpoint demo, but I know that I was intrigued. Ghost Recon has always existed in two worlds, providing elements of a tactical shooter for those who want their experiencedriven by tight communication and efficient planning and a more arcadey shooter for players who …

Battlefield V’s competitive 5v5 mode has been cancelled

I’m not big on military shootymans games to begin with, but I can help but feel that themost recent Battlefield game hasn’t quite been as much a part of the zeitgeist as in previous years. Hardly anybody shares clips of their Battlefield prowess, and nobody really talks about the game. I can’t say why – because by all accounts it’s a good game at its core. I do suspect though, that it partly has to do with the game’s staggered content release that was done in a way that made it seem like the game wasn’t finished when it shipped.

Cyberpunk 2077’s map may be slightly smaller than The Witcher 3’s realm, but it’s also a lot denser

#zrodlo

Not just a completely new direction in terms of genre for CD Projekt Red after they made a name for themselves with the Witcher trilogy, Cyberpunk is also the type of game whose landmass rejects sprawling acres of forests for more congested urban decay. According to CDPR, the Cyberpunk 2077 map is also just like me: Incredibly dense.

YouTube accidentally bans BattleBot videos for animal cruelty

#zrodlo

YouTube gave us a glimpse of our future a few days ago. Not by actually showing us videos of the world all burnt up and falling to pieces, because we could probably look outside our windows for that. But in perhaps predicting the strong relationship humans are going to be forming with their robot buddies …
